About this release
A Touch Of Soul EP1 brings four selections from Soul Love, the sister label to Big Love, together on vinyl. Emmaculate reworks Seamus Haji Presents Ijah’s Nitelife, featuring D’Empress, while Dazzle Drums takes on Belezamusica’s version of Odyssey’s Inside Out. On the reverse, Art Of Tones remixes Namy and Angela Johnson’s The Remedy, followed by Maurice Joshua revisiting Are You Ready in tribute to Ron Carroll, whose vocal features on the recording. The collection connects vocal collaborations with different remix approaches, moving through soulful house and disco-influenced arrangements across its two sides.
