About this release
Silk Cuts opens its catalogue with two hip hop edits that draw on familiar vocals and disco rhythms. Once Don’t Stop reworks Q-Tip’s Breathe and Stop with phasing effects, while Rendezvous Rawkus turns to The High & Mighty’s B-Boy Document ’99 on the reverse. The pairing brings a hip hop focus to the label’s anonymous edits approach, with each rework given its own side of the seven-inch.
