About this release
Somethin' 'Bout The Way brings a previously unreleased Silk recording together with two Late Nite Tuff Guy reworks. The original pairs the group's vocal harmonies with a soul arrangement of keyboards, guitar and rhythm section. Late Nite Tuff Guy's Disco Dub opens the first side, extending and reshaping those elements around a more emphatic club rhythm. The reverse presents the original recording, followed by a shorter edit of the rework. A's & Bee's puts all three versions on this 12-inch, connecting the archive song with two approaches made for a contemporary disco setting.
