About this release
Rocketship brings Terry Hunter, Matt Early and Lee Jeffries together across three mixes on Sonic Wax. Hunter opens the A-side with his house interpretation, followed by the Jaz Apple Mix, which approaches the song through a jazz-influenced arrangement. On the reverse, Jeffries and Early supply a soulful house version informed by Masters At Work. The twelve-inch presents all three mixes, moving between house rhythms and jazz textures while giving each production team its own space within the programme.
