About this release
The Reflex pairs two multitrack revisions on Cherry Dub / Love Look for Flex7. Cherry Dub places familiar funk riffs and vocal hooks within a more spacious dub arrangement, with prominent guitar passages carrying the track's energy. Love Look takes a warmer, breezier route on the reverse, letting its vocal line sit over a rolling rhythm. The two sides show different approaches to reshaping vintage material: one emphasises the tension between riffs and space, while the other keeps the flow more relaxed. Both retain the source recordings' musical detail within arrangements shaped for the dancefloor.
