Various - The Sound Of Sub-Urban Volume 3

The Sound Of Sub-Urban Volume 3 brings vocal house songwriting into focus through remixes of four catalogue recordings. Marc Cotterell reshapes Key To Life and Kathleen Murphy’s “Find Our Way (Breakaway)” in his Plastik Factory Vox, while Sean McCabe takes on Lee Genesis. On the reverse, Helen Bruner and Terry Jones join Next Phase in Grant Nelson’s Euphoric Club Mix, followed by Deep Zone and Ceybil Jefferies’ “Praise Him (Lift Your Hands Up)”. The selection connects the label’s soulful and deep house roots through full vocal versions, with each remixer placing a distinct production approach around the singers and songs.
