About this release
Compiled by Antal of Rush Hour, Timeless Presents From The Archives digs into the Timeless Records catalogue for a personal selection of modal, spiritual and deep jazz favourites. Across the double LP, Antal brings together music from Pharoah Sanders, Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, Gary Bartz, Woody Shaw, Carter Jefferson and more. Sanders bookends the collection, with Moon Child opening the programme and You've Got To Have Freedom closing it. Pressed on 180g vinyl, this edition comes in a gatefold sleeve with notes by Antal, artwork by Dirk-Jan Deckwitz and a 50th Anniversary Timeless Jazz sticker.
