Various - The Sound Of Sub-Urban Volume 1

The Sound Of Sub-Urban Volume 1 brings four house and garage recordings together in a selection spanning earlier remixes and newer reworkings. Scott Diaz takes Next Phase, Helen Bruner and Terry Jones’ My Desire into an extended dub, while Crackazat reshapes Deep Zone and Ceybil Jefferies’ It’s Gonna Be Alright (Help Is On The Way). The reverse turns to Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz 6:23 Mix of 10th Street Assembly’s Free Me, followed by Key To Life and Sabrina Johnston’s Forever in its New Heights Swing Mix. Sub-Urban presents the complete four-track programme on a 12-inch, balancing deep house with the label’s soulful garage tradition.
