About this release
The Dramatics combine sweeping vocal harmonies with a rhythmic edge on Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get. The title track and Get Up and Get Down bring the energy, while In the Rain shows the group's gift for a slow-burning soul ballad.
Warm arrangements and expressive lead vocals hold the album together, balancing dancefloor momentum with moments of tenderness.
