About this release
Atmosfear's En Trance captures the band's place in the early-1980s Brit-funk scene. Originally released through Elite and MCA in 1981, the album brings bass, keyboards, drums, guitar, saxophone and vocals together in a live-band approach to dance music. Free Tonight and Duende lead the first side, while Interplay, Funk The Rock and Invasion extend the rhythm-led writing on the reverse. Mr Bongo's LP reissue presents the original seven-track vinyl programme, ending with Return Of LB. The additional Dancing In Outer Space and other bonus songs belong to the CD edition and are separate from this pressing.
