About this release
Lay Low pairs Eddie Chacon’s soulful voice with production by Nick Hakim, following Chacon’s two albums with John Carroll Kirby. Recorded over two years at Hakim’s Brooklyn studio, the album centres on love, loss and the difficult process of letting go. Its hazy arrangements leave space around the vocals, carrying the intimate mood from Good Sun through the closing If I Ever Let You Go. Kirby returns as a guest on Empire, while Hakim also features on Birds. Released by Stones Throw, the eight-song LP was mastered by Josh Bonati and comes with a printed inner sleeve containing the lyrics.
Format: Vinyl LP with printed lyric inner sleeve
Label: Stones Throw
