About this release
Live For Love gathers four recordings from G.C. Cameron's 1977 sessions at Fantasy Studios, where the former Spinners singer worked with Harvey Fuqua, Greg Crockett and Elgie Stover. Soundway pairs the vocal and instrumental versions of If I Love You with Thank You Baby and the title track. The selection moves from the rhythmic drive of the vocal If I Love You into its deeper instrumental setting, then through modern soul and a more reflective ballad. Thank You Baby was previously unreleased when this edition appeared, as was the vocal If I Love You. The four cuts share a single 12-inch.
