Georgie Sweet - All That We Were

Bournemouth-born, Brighton-based singer and songwriter Georgie Sweet brings All That We Were from her I Swear To You album to seven-inch on Mukatsuku, in collaboration with First Word Records. Her voice sits at the centre of the song, with close harmonies moving across an unhurried groove. The flip presents an instrumental version that removes the lead vocal while retaining the backing voices, keeping the arrangement's atmosphere and rhythmic foundation in place. The two sides offer complementary ways into the same song, moving between Sweet's lead performance and the supporting vocal textures.
