About this release
Love Made Trees introduces Loaded Honey, the project of Jungle collaborators Lydia Kitto and J Lloyd. Their partnership developed while working on Loving In Stereo and Volcano, opening up a separate space for songs centred on romance, change and reflection. Kitto's vocals lead arrangements that draw on 1960s pop, Motown and the orchestral sweep of Philadelphia soul, with guitars, keyboards and programmed elements woven into the production. Rather than concentrating on the dancefloor, the duo bring their shared writing and production into a more intimate setting, balancing the warmth of classic soul with their own melodic sensibility.
