About this release
Real soul heads won't need to be told that this is a reissue which stands tall over most: Lozano is a classic, much sought after and now hard-to-find record by young Puerto Ricans and Cubans in Spanish Harlem and the Bronx.
The only album credited to the group, it is rich in funky arrangements and clean falsetto vocals, moving from slower, heart-aching laments to sparkling confessionals and empowering upbeat grooves.
