About this release
Luke Una draws on his years in Sheffield and Manchester's club scenes for É Soul Cultura, a selection that moves between Brazilian music, jazz, disco and house. Yusef Lateef, Airto Moreira and the trio of Daniel Humair, François Jeanneau and Henri Texier sit alongside The Brand New Heavies and Soylent Green. The connections reflect Una's approach at Electric Chair and his later parties: different eras and tempos linked by the feeling of the records themselves. This orange double vinyl edition includes a zine written by Una and designed by Mark James.
Format: Orange double vinyl LP with zine
Label: Mr Bongo
