About this release
Rocafort pairs two recordings from Millie Jackson's It Hurts So Good sessions for Spring Records in 1973. Now That You Got It brings her early-1970s vocal presence to a tight funk arrangement, with a direct delivery that gives the groove its character. The reverse presents an alternate version of Hypocrisy, offering a different performance from the album recording. Together, the two sides connect Jackson's forceful approach to soul with the rhythmic detail of her early Spring material, bringing the session pairing into 7-inch form.
