About this release
At Your Pace is the second album from Modha, the Berlin duo of drummer and producer Dhanya Langer and multi-instrumentalist Max Scholl. Built around live studio sessions and close collaboration, it brings jazz, hip hop, neo-soul and R&B together in songs about vulnerability, memory and everyday life. Allysha Joy joins Good News, while Àbáse and flautist Fanni Zahár contribute to River. Wakai, James Chatburn, Conic Rose and okcandice add further voices and textures across the record. Short instrumental passages connect the songs, giving its eight tracks space to develop without smoothing away the character of the performances.
