About this release
Moonchild’s Voyager brings Amber Navran, Andris Mattson and Max Bryk’s soul and jazz approach into a set of songs about relationships, heartbreak and emotional release. The Los Angeles trio combines soft vocals with detailed harmonies and electronic production, giving the music a relaxed surface with intricate arrangements underneath. The List explores the aftermath of a romantic promise, while Run Away places Navran’s voice against synthesizer and drum-heavy textures. Short interludes connect the songs, with Doors Closing separating The List from Run Away. Originally released in 2017, this third album captures the group’s balance of intimate songwriting and expansive, carefully layered sound.
