About this release
Omega Sunrise's Feel The Change brings funk, soul and jazz-influenced arrangements together with a devotional character. Recorded in 1983, the album balances crisp drums and mellow vocals with brass lines and synthesizer textures, moving between more tightly driven rhythms and slower passages. Renewal opens the programme, followed by pieces including Your Love, Spot Light and Celestial Funk, before the reverse moves from No Disguise through to Follow Your Road. This Vinyl Kitchen reissue restores the album to vinyl in its complete running order. The music's blend of ensemble playing, electronic colour and gospel-rooted feeling remains central to its sound.
