About this release
Pasadena opens Deeppa's seven-inch series with Vodichka Nice, a relaxed track built around soft melody, unison vocals and a gently moving bassline. The original leans into a mellow funk and soul feel, leaving space around its drums and keyboard textures. Scruscru and Tony Lavrutz take the reverse with their Re-Digged Mix, keeping the track's bright melodic character while shifting it towards a deeper house arrangement. The pairing sets out two approaches to the same material, with the remix developing the rhythmic possibilities of the original rather than changing its overall mood. It is the first release in the DEEPPAS sequence.
