About this release
Pellegrino presents Zodyaco, a five-track project shaped by nocturnal jams, Italian jazz-funk and Mediterranean imagery. The record takes the mythology of the stars and their influence on the sea as its starting point, moving through Astri & Riflessi, the title track and Libra Position before Genti Del Mediterraneo and a closing reprise. Its focus is on the connection between rhythm, melody and the feeling of those late-night sessions, with jazz-funk and fusion meeting a disco sensibility. Early Sounds Recordings’ vinyl edition presents the complete five-track sequence, including Libra Position (Reprise).
