About this release
Hear My Song returns the Reggie Saddler Combo’s 1968 debut single to 7-inch vinyl. The vocal A-side sits within the Northern soul tradition, pairing Saddler’s expressive delivery with an uplifting arrangement. For The Love Of Hunice appears on the reverse, offering an instrumental companion with a more bittersweet feel. Issued through Tramp Records’ Alarm imprint, the reissue revisits an early recording by the musician later associated with the Reggie Saddler Revue and Raggedy Bag. The two-track programme keeps the original vocal and instrumental sides together at 45 rpm.
