About this release
Silver is Say She She’s second album, fronted by the voices of Piya Malik, Sabrina Mileo Cunningham and Nya Gazelle Brown. The band wrote and recorded the music live to tape at Killion Sound in North Hollywood, with Orgone’s Sergio Rios producing. Across sixteen songs, disco rhythms and soul harmonies meet psychedelic touches, drawing on a range of influences that includes Rotary Connection, Asha Puthli and Tom Tom Club. Reeling opens a sequence that moves through C’est Si Bon, Forget Me Not and Echo In The Chamber before closing with the title track. Karma Chief presents the album as a double LP in a gatefold sleeve.
