About this release
Talking Book is Stevie Wonder’s 1972 album, bringing expressive keyboard sounds and tightly shaped rhythms into a ten-song sequence. You Are The Sunshine Of My Life opens with a warm, melodic approach, while Maybe Your Baby stretches into a heavier groove. The second side begins with the clavinet-led Superstition before Big Brother, Blame It On The Sun and Lookin’ For Another Pure Love move through different vocal moods. I Believe (When I Fall In Love It Will Be Forever) closes the programme with a gradual build. This 180g vinyl reissue retains the album’s original sequence and the Braille detailing on the sleeve.
