About this release
Heartache In Room 14 is The Altons’ debut album for Daptone, following their singles on the label’s Penrose imprint. Adriana Flores and Brian Ponce share lead vocals, their contrasting voices shaping a set of romantic duets and moody ballads. The music connects sweet soul with Tejano influences and cinematic psychedelic touches, reflecting the group’s blend of soul, rock and Latin rhythms. Across ten songs, including “Waiting”, “Tangled Up In You”, “Perdóname” and “Del Cielo Te Cuido”, the interplay between the two singers remains central. This standard black vinyl LP presents the complete album, ending with “Show You Love”.
