About this release
The Jimmy Castor Bunch pair ‘It’s Just Begun’ with ‘Troglodyte (Cave Man)’ on this RCA seven-inch. These two recordings connect the group’s funk sound with the breaks and vocal refrains that became part of hip-hop’s musical vocabulary. ‘It’s Just Begun’ takes the first side, with ‘Troglodyte (Cave Man)’ on the reverse. Remastered for 2024, this edition presents the two-track pairing with the original RCA sleeve and label design, bringing both songs together in a compact single format.
