About this release
The Reflex pairs two contrasting reworks on the fifth Flex7 seven-inch. Whatson Ur Mind draws on disco and yacht rock, placing its romantic vocal feel over a relaxed, nodding bass groove. Hide Luv takes a slower route, bringing soulful phrasing and synthesizer textures into a deeper funk arrangement. The two sides share an emphasis on groove while keeping different moods: the opener is light and outward-looking, and the flip more restrained and low-slung. Together they offer a compact pairing of dancefloor-focused edits with room for the original songs’ melodic character.
