About this release
The Strangers’ self-titled album brings together Edward “Tree” Moore, Howard King and Hubert Eaves III in a studio project rooted in electronic funk, disco and boogie. Originally released by Salsoul in 1983, it opens with Wanna Take Your Body, featuring Gary Bartz on saxophone. Let Me Take You Home and Show Me How You Like It complete the first side, before Love Rescue, Step Out Of My Dream, It’s Too Late and Stimulation on the reverse. This Be With reissue is remastered by Simon Francis, cut by Cicely Balston at Abbey Road and pressed at Record Industry.
