About this release
Universe City’s ‘Can You Get Down’ and ‘Serious’ pair two John Davis productions originally issued together on a 1976 promotional 12-inch. Davis also arranged the recordings, connecting both sides to the disco and funk sound of the period. This remastered Midland International reissue restores the two-track pairing on 12-inch vinyl, with ‘Can You Get Down’ on the A-side and ‘Serious’ on the flip. The record is housed in a Universe City band picture sleeve.
