About this release
Sly5thAve and The ClubCasa Chamber Orchestra return with a remastered seven-inch pairing of ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’ and ‘Get Free’. This reissue brings the orchestral arrangements back to vinyl with new artwork by Japanese artist Tokio Aoyama.
The A-side reshapes Kendrick Lamar’s song through horns and woodwinds. On the flip, Major Lazer’s ‘Get Free’ becomes a warm combination of soul, reggae rhythm and orchestral colour, presented here as a studio recording. Two concise reinterpretations that put the arrangements and musicianship in the foreground.
