COEO - Tonic Edits Vol 5

COEO take charge of the fifth Tonic Edits instalment, drawing on the Toy Tonics crew's affection for old records and vintage equipment. The approach is rooted in the edit tradition: taking the parts that make a disco record move, recutting them and building an arrangement that gives a DJ room to work. Here the starting point is seventies disco, reshaped with the duo's own touch.

‘Orlando Magic’ and ‘Cabrio Mango’ fill the A-side, with ‘1981’ and ‘She Keeps It Good’ on the flip. Across four tracks, this twelve offers a focused selection for disco sets and the more soulful end of a house session.
