About this release
Drop Music reissues Inland Knights Vol 1, a 12" vinyl from Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie, capturing the chunky DIY UK house sound that helped define Inland Knights.
Originally rooted in Sheffield’s free party and Smokescreen Soundsystem scene, the EP moves from the soul-flecked bump of 'Mud Substance' to dubby bass, analogue funk and loose deep house pressure. A proper remastered slice of UK house history.
