Junior Jack - Stupidisco (2021 Remixes)

Junior Jack's 2004 disco-house track Stupidisco receives four new treatments on this 2021 remix release. David Penn reshapes the Pointer Sisters-sampling original around firm kicks, a moving bassline and piano, while Deeperlove takes a tougher tech-house direction.

Jolyon Petch supplies both mixes on the reverse: an Italo-influenced version under his own name and a nu-disco interpretation as Elektrik Disko. Together the four mixes offer distinct ways into the same vocal hook, ranging from piano-led disco house to more stripped club production. Tinted Records collects the complete package on this twelve-inch, catalogue TINTV003.
