Space Ghost - Free 2 B

Oakland producer Space Ghost brings house, boogie and R&B together on Free 2 B, a nine-track album made with Apron Records in mind. Recorded in East Oakland during 2018 and 2019, it explores another side of the influences heard on Endless Light and Aquarium Nightclub.

Juno Fantasy and Prayer For U lead into the vocal version of Feelin Real Good, while G'la contributes lyrics and vocals to I'll Be Yours. Both songs also appear as instrumentals, giving the record room to move between vocal songwriting and production-led pieces. The balance of shimmering house and polished R&B holds the collection together.
