The Zenmenn and John Moods - Hidden Gem

The Zenmenn reunite with John Moods for their first full album together, following 'Homage To A Friend'. Recorded during an extended session south of Hamburg in late summer 2021, Hidden Gem grew from improvisation rather than prepared songs. A drum kit, DX7, Ukrainian bass and pedal steel guitar frame Moods’ fragile voice across six tracks. The group’s soft-rock and late-night pop instincts remain central, with room for country inflections and the loose feel of musicians finding a shared direction. Music From Memory presents the results on a single LP, from 'Out Of My Mind' to 'Everytime'.
