About this release
N-You-Up and Nick Studer team up as NYU & NS for a limited white label pairing two modern soul reworks. 'Come' and 'Wrong' retain the character of their source material, with the duo giving each track extra space, punch and rhythmic momentum. The emphasis is on bringing that vocal warmth and swagger into a DJ set without losing what makes the originals connect.
With one cut on each side, Edit-You-Up Vol. 1 keeps the format straightforward and the attention on the grooves. It's a useful bridge between song-led soul selections and more dancefloor-focused material, offering two edits that let the familiar hooks breathe. The release arrives on limited 12-inch vinyl under catalogue number NYOUP001.
