Interstellar Funk - Into The Echo

Interstellar Funk’s debut album for Dekmantel brings his interest in analogue machinery and experimental electronics into a ten-track double LP. Processed drums, recurring voices and layered synthesiser lines connect pieces that move between ambient space and club rhythm. JASSS joins him on ‘Northern Winds’, while Loradeniz appears on ‘Crickets at Night’. ‘Psycho Panner’ draws on acid textures, and ‘Dreamers (Part I)’ folds guitar into its electronic arrangement. The album leaves room for changes of tempo and density, carrying the range of his DJ sets into a more sustained listening format. Photography for the sleeve is by Bea1991.
