About this release
Broken Glass Arch brings Djrum’s intricate approach to rhythm and atmosphere to R&S, balancing low-end weight with delicate melodic detail. Felix Manuel’s title track builds through stuttering percussion, deep bass and suspended pads, holding club pressure alongside a more reflective mood. Showreel Pt. 2 continues the rhythmic side of the record, with broken patterns and small melodic gestures moving through the arrangement. Showreel Pt. 1 offers a quieter conclusion, drawing attention to reverberant piano and open space. Across these three pieces, Djrum connects forceful drum work with the intimacy and shifting detail of close listening.
