About this release
Pangaea and Leonce bring their UK and US club influences together on Dusted / Stuck, recorded during studio sessions in London. “Dusted” takes a UK garage direction, combining fast drums, chopped vocals and textured electronic sounds. On the reverse, “Stuck” follows a more restrained route informed by 1990s American club music. The collaboration grew from the producers playing each other’s records, connecting Pangaea’s work around Hessle Audio with Leonce’s approach to US club rhythms. This fabric Originals 12-inch presents the two original tracks, contrasting the busy movement of “Dusted” with the more measured arrangement of “Stuck”.
