About this release
Recorded between London and Amsterdam across 2024, SHERELLE’s debut album channels difficult personal experiences into fast-moving club music. With A Vengeance grew from daily writing sessions, bringing contrasting hard and soft textures into a ten-track set shaped around the possibilities of the 160 scene. Its influences include Kode9, Scratch DVA, Machinedrum, Lone and SBTRKT, alongside grime’s R&G strain. George Riley joins SHERELLE on Freaky (Just My Type), while XTC returns in another form as XTC Susp3nded. This Impressed Recordings edition presents the album across two clear heavyweight vinyl records with an obi strip.
Format: 2 × heavyweight clear vinyl LP with obi strip
Label: Impressed Recordings
