About this release
Air’s 2004 album Talkie Walkie pairs the duo’s electronic arrangements with acoustic instrumentation and strings. Working with producer Nigel Godrich, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel take the vocal parts themselves, keeping the songs at the centre of a spacious, melodic sound. Cherry Blossom Girl and Surfing On A Rocket sit alongside Run, Universal Traveler and Alpha Beta Gaga, before Alone In Kyoto closes the record. That final instrumental also appeared in Sofia Coppola’s Lost In Translation. This 180g vinyl reissue presents all ten tracks on a single LP.
