Mato feat. Lady Gatica - You Can't Turn Me Away

Mato and Lady Gatica reinterpret Sylvia Striplin's You Can't Turn Me Away for Stix Records' Mellow Reggae Series. The song, originally produced by Roy Ayers, becomes a relaxed reggae vocal cut, with Lady Gatica drawing on her background in soul, funk and disco. Mato, the production alias of Thomas Blanchot, has developed a catalogue of reggae and dub versions of songs from across soul, pop, hip-hop and film soundtracks. This seven-inch pairs the Mato Reggae Mix with a dub version on the reverse, presenting two approaches to the same song through his established collaboration with Stix.
