Slow Pulp - Melodie

Slow Pulp's third album Melodie takes the guitar textures of their earlier work towards more immediate pop melodies. Following Yard, the Chicago band draw on their shoegaze roots and the alternative rock that shaped them, with Emily Massey and Henry Stoehr co-writing the material.

Produced by Elliott Kozel, the eleven-track album includes Better Man, These Days and Red Car. Massey's voice remains central as the band open out their sound, balancing distorted guitars with a stronger emphasis on hooks. Released by ANTI-, this vinyl edition runs from Yellow & Green through the closing Slip Away.
