About this release
Jhobei and B.Love make their Semi Delicious debut with R U Listening, bringing the Bizarre Trax founders' low-slung grooves and rolling basslines to Demi Riquísimo's label. The title track and 9Teen-A-T-7 open the record, before Sweely gives R U Listening a deeper house interpretation on the flip. The Vision follows, with the vinyl-exclusive Gob Bop! (Cheeky Cheeky Mix) closing the set. Across four originals and one remix, the pair connect their shared crate-digging background with a playful approach to house rhythms. Sweely's contribution adds a contrasting perspective within the five-track programme.
