Triple Five Sol launch their Puppy Cuts imprint with Sounds From The Pound Vol. 1, a 12" vinyl EP of deep house and acid from San Francisco duo Vin Sol and Johnny Five.

'Blocked' opens with a stripped-back 303 groove and chopped gospel touches, while 'Come Over Mackin' brings soulful chords and tough drums. 'Grocery Bag' works grainy pads and rhythm, before 'Roll Models' closes with organ bass, dub-like chords and feeling-rich vocal detail.
