About this release
ATIC Records presents the vinyl reissue of Aim’s genre-defining debut LP Cold Water Music. Remastered from the original tapes and featuring all-new artwork. When Cold Water Music debuted in 1999 it was an underground sensation. A game- changing collection of uplifting cinematic soundscapes, dark jazz fuelled breaks and hard-hitting hip-hop beats featuring guest rap legends QNC, AG and YZ. The album went on to shift well over 100,000 physical units and is now seen as a bona fide classic. 25 years later the album sounds as fresh, as inventive and as necessary as it ever did.
