About this release
Pink Siifu and Ahwlee build Leather Blvd. around an imagined Black neighbourhood, with singers, rappers and musicians moving through its shops, streets and gathering places. Their second full-length as B. Cool-Aid follows BRWN, bringing together a wide circle that includes Liv.e, Ladybug Mecca, Big Rube, Butcher Brown and Fousheé. Ahwlee's production gives the voices room to overlap, connecting hip-hop with soul and jazz rather than treating each guest appearance as a separate event. Across sixteen tracks, songs and brief interludes contribute to the same communal setting. This Lex Records edition presents the album across two black vinyl records.
