About this release
Caoilfhionn Rose's third Gondwana album combines piano-led songwriting with synthesizers, ambient samples and a live rhythm section. Constellation draws on folk and jazz while exploring the voice as both a storyteller and an instrument within the arrangements. Drummer Alan Taylor and bassist Gavin Barras join Jordan Smart on saxophone, with John Ellis contributing to Fall Into Place and Aaron Wood adding samples to Rainfall. Across ten tracks, Rose builds a connected sequence of songs around nature, collaboration and playful studio experimentation. This GONDLP69 edition presents the complete album on black BioVinyl, with a double-sided printed insert.
