About this release
Children of Zeus – As The World Burns... is the Manchester duo's third studio album, released by First Word Records as a 16-track double vinyl LP. Arriving five years after Balance, Tyler Daley and Konny Kon continue their distinctive blend of hip hop soul, street soul and alternative R&B.
The album combines boom bap production, jazz-informed detail and sound-system weight with candid writing about life, pressure and escape. Guest appearances from Knucks, Young Old Soul, [ K S R ] and Anieszka add to a record built for listeners who value soulful vocals, heavyweight beats and modern UK music. Catalogue number FW376.
